Minute Steak & Cornish Blue Burgers

Today post is proudly in partnership with the Cornish Cheese Company. Cornish Blue has been produced on the Stansfield’s farm on Bodmin Moor since 2001.

When I received the beautifully creamy blue cheese I thought what better way than to start munching my way through the truckle than having a Minute Steak and Blue Cheese Burger. A quick and simple meal to enjoy after a busy day.


  • 4 Burger Buns
  • 4 Minute Steaks
  • Lettuce (I used iceberg)
  • Tomato
  • Cucumbers
  • Cornish Blue
  • Butter
  • Mustard (Optional)


1, Start by gently cooking off your minute steaks to your preferred likeness. For me this is medium/well done.

2. While the steaks are in cooking gently, prepare you burger buns but adding butter, mustard, lettuce (I used crispy iceberg) and slices of tomato and cucumber.

3. Next I took a generous slice of the creamy Cornish Blue cheese ready to top the steak once finished cooking.

There you have it!

My delicious minute burgers with Cornish Blue Cheese topping. I simply served these with a side of garlic and herb wedges. Of course, the burger can be switched up for a vegetarian option which works just as well with the cheese slice.
