Mulled Pear, Cranberry & Sloe Gin Punch
Continuing on with my Bonfire Night Treats Series I thought I would share with you a classic warming drink which can be enjoyed cold or served warm and toasty...
This recipe is made in one simple step and if in a rush can be made a couple days ahead of time ready for you to just heat up when serving. It will need to keep it in the fridge and I recommend not adding the sloe gin until you’re ready to reheat and serve.
To make this recipe you will need...
Ingredients
- 1Ltr Pear Cider
- 1Ltr Apple & Pear Juice (this can be cloudy)
- 1Ltr Cranberry Juice
- 150ml Sloe Gin (you can use shop bought, but I'm using what I made from last year)
- 1 Cinnamon Sticks
Method
- Put all the ingredients into your biggest saucepan or casserole dish.
- When you’re ready to serve, heat to just below simmering point, then ladle into glasses.
And there you have it my Mulled Pear & Cranberry Punch. Perfect for these dark and cold autumn evenings when you want something warm, comforting and super fruity. You can always swap out the pear cider for a non acholic cider (I recommend Kopparberg as an alcohol free alternative) and leave out the sloe gin. This also makes a great alternative for a Mulled Wine choice at Christmas.
If you make this dish, why not send me a picture on Instagram using the #acountrygirlskitchen so I can go over and show it some love.
I hope you all have a wonderful day.
