Slow Cooker Hot Chocolate

Slow Cooker Hot Chocolate

Day 7 - How are we already 7 days into this month? It's flying by! Today is a quick and easy recipe as I have been busy with work and sorting out presents. So while I sit down to start wrapping I'm going to make myself a Hot Chocolate to cook away in the slow cooker. I can then sip on it while continuing my present wrapping.

To make this cocktail you will need...

Ingredients

  • 175g Hot Chocolate Powder
  • Large Scoop Of Nutella
  • 4 Pints Of Milk (I used full fat milk as this requires something extra indulgent)
  • Small Tub Of Single Cream
  • Candy Cane (optional)

Method

  1. Whisk all ingredients together in the slow cooker. Pop on high for 1 hours and then turn to low for 1 hour. If using milk straight from the fridge I recommend leaving the mix on high for another 1/2 hour to 1 hours.
  2. Pour into mug, hang a candy cane on the rim of the glass (to use as a stirrer) and enjoy.

I told you this recipe was quick and easy didn't I?

So there you have it, my super delicious Slow Cooker Hot Chocolate complete with candy cane stirrer. Perfect for this time of year if you're busy wrapping but need a little something to keep you going. I made my batch in the morning and put it on low till I got home that afternoon when it was ready and waiting for me when I came through the front door.

If you make this dish, why not send me a picture on Instagram using the #acountrygirlskitchen so I can go over and show it some love.

I hope you all have a wonderful day.
