Christmas Eve Festive Boozy Punch
Well this is it, we have completed 24 days of festive recipe fun and the big day is a matter of hours away. It has been such a fun couple of weeks and I have loved every second of it and I hope you have too. We finish this Country Countdown with a super fun and boozy recipe which is a must at my Christmas Eve party every year without fail. This is my Festive Boozy Punch.
This beautiful drink is not only warming, fruity and fully of flavour, but packs a punch with the quantities of alcohol used. To be honest, the first time I made this I literally threw everything in a pot, no measurements and just heated it up hoping for the best. Perfect for those Christmas Eve parties or just as a festive boozy beverage.
To make this recipe you will need...
Ingredients
- 1 Bottle Of Red Wine
- 1 Bottle Of Cider
- 1Ltr Of Orange Juice
- A Good Glug Of Brandy, Port & Cointreau
- Orange Slices For Decoration (optional)
Method
- Put all the ingredients into your biggest saucepan or casserole dish.
- When you’re ready to serve, heat to just below simmering point, then ladle into glasses.
And there you have it my Christmas Eve Festive Punch. Perfect for the final few hours to countdown to the big day with especially when you want something warm, comforting and super fruity. You can always swap out the alcohol for a non acholic liquids or even juices (I recommend Kopparberg as an alcohol free alternative).
If you make this drink, why not send me a picture on Instagram using the #acountrygirlskitchen so I can go over and show it some love.
