No-Bake Mars Bar Slice: The Perfect Fuss-Free Dessert

To make these slices you will need...

Ingredients

  • 95g Butter
  • 1 Tin Condensed Milk
  • 300g Digestive Biscuits
  • 6 Mars Bars (each chopped into 8 pieces)

For the Decorations

  • 200g chocolate of your choice (Melted)
  • 2 Mars Bars (chopped into 8 pieces)

This recipe makes 16 pieces.

Method

  1. First line a 8 inch baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Blitz all the digestives together till they resemble sand.
  3. Add in the melted butter and whole tin of condensed milk, giving it a good mix until well combined.
  4. Now chop each of the mars bars into 8 portions and fold into the mixture making sure they are evenly distributed. Pop in the fridge to set while we prepare the topping.
  5. Taking the remaining 2 mars bars again chop these into 8 pieces and leave to the side while we melt the chocolate.
  6. Adding your chocolate to a microwavable bowl, start to melt in 30 second blocks. (Mine took 2 minutes to fully melt).
  7. Remove the baking tray from the fridge and carefully pour out the chocolate, spreading evenly so it's coating the entire biscuit base.
  1. Carefully place your chopped mars bar pieces evenly over the top and place back in the fridge to set.

And there you have it my quick and easy No Bake Mars Bar Slices. Perfect for an afternoon treat, or to make with the children.
